Whether it is for a school assignment or a work-related project, there may be a time when you need a document translated from a foreign language. If you need more than a few words translated and have an entire document written in the German language, there are several options available for translation online and offline.

      Select an online language translation service such as Google Language Tools or Yahoo's Babel Fish.

      Select German as the language you want to translate from and English as the language you want to translate to.

      Copy and past the text you wish to translate into the blank text box.

    Dictionary

      Purchase a German/English dictionary. The dictionary should have two separate sides: one English and one German.
