Cal State Business Colleges

The California State University (CSU) has over 23 campuses across the state of California. This institution enrolls over 412,000 graduate and undergraduate students. Many of this university's campuses offer schools or colleges with business programs. Undergraduate business degrees as well as graduate-level business degrees are available to students at many of these locations. Several other smaller state colleges operating out of California offer business-related degree programs.

    • CSU, Chico's main campus is situated on 119 acres of land in Chico, California, just north of Sacramento. The College of Business at CSU, Chico offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in several areas of business. CSU, Fresno's main campus encompasses 388 acres of land in Fresno, California. Business-related degrees are available through CSU, Fresno's Craig School of Business. Business programs are also available at the CSU, Los Angeles College of Business and Economics and the Sacramento State College of Business Administration. Annual enrollment in Sacramento State College's College of Business Administration has been around 5,000 and steadily rising since 2004.

    Undergraduate Degrees

    • Students at CSU, Chico can pursue bachelor's degree programs in business administration and business information systems. These students can major in such subjects as finance, marketing, accounting, management information systems and supply chain management systems. At the Fresno campus, undergraduates can pursue several degree options such as the bachelor of science degree in areas like accounting. Undergraduate bachelor's degree programs in fields like economics and statistics are available at CSU in Los Angeles. Bachelor of science degrees in areas like business administration are available at Sacramento State College.

    Graduate Degrees

    • Graduate students at CSU, Chico can enroll in programs that lead to the master of business administration degree. Graduate programs are available at CSU, Chico that concentrate in such areas as management information systems and accounting. Several graduate degrees like the master's degree in accountancy are available at the Fresno campus. The Los Angeles campus offers programs that lead to master's degrees in fields like information systems and healthcare management. A master of business administration graduate-level degree program is available at Sacramento State.

    Accreditations

    • Accreditation agencies design degree program standards for educational institutions to uphold. The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) is an agency that designs standards for business college degree programs. CSU, Chico's College of Business has offered AACSB accredited business programs since 1972. The Fresno campus Craig School of Business has been accredited by AACSB since 1959. The Los Angeles campus also offers AACSB accredited programs. Sacramento State College's s College of Business Administration has been accredited by AACSB since 1963.
