      Select a random word from your dictionary. Study the definition, meaning and example sentences provided in your dictionary until you are certain of its meaning and usage in a sentence.

      Create three sentences using the new word and write them down.

      Use the new word in a sentence while talking to someone. You may have to be creative, especially if it is a medical term or very strange-sounding word. Bring up a news topic or mention a study you read to justify using the new word in a sentence.
