How to Learn the South Korean Language

Korean is widely spoken in South Korea, North Korea and areas in Japan, America and Canada. Learning the language will open doors for job opportunities in areas where Korea is spoken.       Write the Korean words. Korean characters are stacked on top of each other to form syllables and words. Sentences are written horizontally, beginning from the left. The characters are always written the same. Uppercase and lowercase characters are not used.

      Speak Korean. You can practice Korean with native speakers that you meet online in a program like Conversation Exchange, or join a "meetup group." At meetup gatherings, connect with other people learning conversational Korean. If you enjoy music, listen to Korean pop music with English subtitles on YouTube, and translate English words you know into Korean words.
