This course examines the basics in the automobile business. Subjects discussed include the use and maintenance of various equipment, safety inside a body shop and the introduction to automobile systems.
This course covers the philosophy behind various automobile fuel systems, which consist of the areas of injection, carburetion, fuels and pumps. Training will cover the repairing of fuel and exhaust systems as well as emphasis on emission control systems.
This class explains the use of the brake system. Training will include covering the brake system and brake servicing. Inspection diagnosis, adjustment and repair of anti-lock brakes will also be observed.
Instruction includes procedures handled to perform diagnosis and repair services on automobile engines. Techniques learned through this course include diagnosis, inspection, disassemble and reassemble engine, and decisive engine dimensions.
This has a focus on automobile electronics. Students will learn the use of the chassis system, transmissions and instrumentation through computer systems.
This course pertains to the diagnosis and repair of temperature control, and air control of the heating and air conditioning systems.
