    • Columbus Technical College consists of three schools. The School of Business offers associate's degrees in accounting, business, criminal justice technology, early childhood care and education, and management and supervisory development. The School of Information Systems offers associate's degree programs in computer support, Internet specialist and networking specialist. The School of Health Sciences offers associate's degrees that include dental hygiene, nursing, pharmacy technology, respiratory care and surgical technology. There is a dual enrollment program for high school students. Programs include automotive technology, cosmetology, carpentry, and patient care and assisting.

    Rivertown School of Beauty, Barber, Skin Care and Nails

    • This is a privately owned technical school that has been in business for over 35 years, as of March 2010. Upon completion of their program, students will be qualified to take the state examinations. The cosmetology and barber programs each consist of 750 hours of instruction. The nail technician program consists of 600 hours of training. Nail structure, nail disease, wraps and manicure procedures are studied during this training. The esthetics program consists of 1,000 hours of training and focuses on makeup artistry, skin care and body wraps.
