The GED For Free home program allows participants to prepare for the GED by attending online classes and taking practice tests. Participants can take math, reading, science, social studies and writing classes. This program is intended for those who have at least completed the 9th grade. After participants finish the course and feel as if they have mastered the material, they will be able to take the GED examination, provided they meet eligibility requirements for their home state. The GED Academy analyzes what each student already knows and needs to learn in order to pass the GED examination. Each student will receive a personal tutor to learn the information necessary to pass the exam. Students can enroll in this program for as long as they choose. If they do not pass the GED exam then they will receive their money back. There is also an online test center search tool, which allows students to find a test center when they are ready to take the GED exam. Miami Dade College's GED Online program is a free online study course. To enroll in the program, students will first have to apply for admission. Once accepted, a specialist will review the online program with you, either in person, through email or over the phone. When you begin the program, you first need to take the pretest. The areas that the GED program will focus on depend on the results of your pretest. Individuals can enroll in the program for as many semesters as they wish.
