Purchase or borrow preparation books for your exam from a local bookstore or library. There are many different publishers that focus on the content of the examinations and each provides certain study methods that prepare individuals to receive the best score.
Take as many practice tests as possible. Practice tests are available on line through the Praxis website and are also available for purchase at local bookstores. Practice tests enable individuals to get comfortable with the test format and to focus on the sections that they find the most difficult.
Attend a workshop that focuses on the specific Praxis exam that you are going to take. The Louisiana Resource Center for educators provides workshops each week for individuals who are working on the studying process and provide study strategies and additional practice tests that may not be available on line or at a bookstore.
