Child Development Associate Programs in New York

A Child Development Associate (CDA) designation is a professional credential for early childhood educators. Granted by the nonprofit education/early childhood organization the Council for Professional Recognition, a CDA credential recognizes early childhood educators who have met specific education and hands-on experiential requirements. The CDA is helpful to many educators interested in obtaining or advancing a career in a preschool, daycare or child care environment. New York residents can earn a CDA through one of many different programs.
