Become accepted and enrolled as a student at a college or university that has a sorority system. You must be an eligible undergraduate student before you apply to be in a sorority.
Check the dates when sorority recruitment, or rush, will be held. This will generally take place at the beginning of the fall or spring semester of university session. Sign up for rush on the university website or at the student center.
Participate in the rush events to meet females within each sorority and to introduce yourself to potential sorority sisters. During rush, you will usually go around to different sorority houses and talk with other girls in sororities, as well as others looking to join. This can be a good way to meet girls at your university and get an idea of a sorority house that you may want to join.
Pledge to join a sorority by marking it on a ballet after rush. You will generally pick more than one house to apply to, and then the sororities get to decide who they want to be accepted into the sorority.
