Gather all of the flowers you are using for the bouquet, and snip the ends of their stems off. Do this in such a way that the cut stems line up evenly with a straight edge.
Arrange the tulips to appear sporadically among the fragrant rose blossoms. Also consider color and flower size when arranging the blooms.
Bundle the arranged flowers together, making a fist gently but firmly around the central part of the bundle of stems.
Bind the stems together with a rubber band to keep them in place.
Place the flower bundle over the spread-out fabric rectangle. Make sure the fabric is spread out lengthwise and the flowers overlap it at both ends by at least two inches. Wrap the fabric neatly around the bundle of stems.
Squeeze a small dot of glue at one end of the length of silk ribbon. Adhere the end to the fabric somewhere near the top edge of the fabric. Let the glue dry for two minutes.
Wrap the ribbon downward in a spiral around the fabric of the bouquet and then bring it back up again spiraling it around the bouquet in the opposite direction. Repeat this until the loose end of the ribbon is resting somewhere near the bottom edge of the fabric wrap. Glue it into place.
Tie the silk cord around the center of the bound and wrapped bouquet. Tie it into a simple bow.
