How to Access Prairie View's Online Classes

Prairie View A&M University was founded in Texas in 1876 in the aftermath of the Civil War. Originally designed as a school for African American students, Prairie View has since opened its doors to a full range of races, colors and genders. Prairie View offers traditional in-class education opportunities and online programs. Accessing Prairie View's online classes requires that you first enroll and register. Follow the steps to guide you through the eCourse access process, so you can view your online classes.

      Visit the Prairie View A&M website. Scroll to the bottom of the homepage. Click the "Online Services" tab.

      Select the "eCourse Login/Assistance" tab. Click the "Log In" button.

      Enter your username and password, and click "Go" to enter the Prairie View A&M eCourse database. You will receive an initial username and password upon enrollment. Choose the "CLICK HERE if you are having login issues" tab below the log in text boxes and follow prefabricated instructions for resetting your username and/or password, if necessary. For additional assistance, proceed to step four.

      Click on the "Home" tab to visit the Prairie View A&M Office of Distance Learning webpage. Navigate the site via the main menu bar to contact administrators as needed.
