Start with the title of the video. The title should be italicized or underlined and followed by a parenthetical description of the media. For example, if you are using a video recording, then the title should be followed by the word "(video recording)." If your word processor will not support italics, then use an underscore symbol to indicate that the title should be underlined. For example, if the title of the video is "Gorillas in the Misty Wilds," then your citation should start out: _Gorillas in the Misty Wilds_ (video recording)
Add the year that the video was released and a comma. This information should be available on the packaging and in the video credits. You only need the year of release, not the month and day. If your video was released in 2008, then your citation should read, thus far, like this: _Gorillas in the Misty Wilds_ (video recording) 2008,
Add the city and state where the film was produced. You can use standard postal abbreviations for the state. Each item should be followed by a comma. If your video was produced in Little Rock, Arkansas, then your citation should now look like this: _Gorillas in the Misty Wilds_ (video recording) 2008, Little Rock, AR,
Finish with the name of the production company. This should also be located on the packaging and in the video credits. If your video was produced by Junglebook Productions, then your final citation should look like this: _Gorillas in the Misty Wilds_ (video recording) 2008, Little Rock, AR, Junglebook Productions.
