How to Use Textbooks As a Reference

When writing a research paper or an article, information contained in textbooks often provides relevant facts and data. When you use textbooks as a reference you must cite these sources in a standard reference list to provide credit to these sources. Because a textbook often contains information only identified as work by an association or corporation, attribute the textbook information by identifying the name of the group responsible for the textbook.
