Urban Economics Programs

Many universities offer courses in urban economics, focusing on the economic issues of cities. These programs examine such issues as land use, urban development, transportation and infrastructure, population growth, and policy issues arising from these challenges. Some universities offer programs that allow students to specialize in urban economics. Some of these programs combine economics with real estate and business studies.
