    Curriculum

    • A prospective bartender will learn the basic in and outs of being behind the bar. The courses teaches all students the basic bar equipment, customer service strategies, bar terms and placing a drink in the correct glass. Students will also learn how to make more than 100 mixed drinks including highballs, margaritas, martinis, shooters and exotic drinks.     • Both bartending schools in the Tampa area offer the courses in a variety of scheduling options. Each course requires at least 40 hours of classroom experience. The classes are offered over one week, two week and five week courses. The one week courses are accelerated programs and require being in class for eight hours each day. The two week course are half day courses offered in the mornings or afternoon. The five week course is conducted on weekends only. Typical cost for a bartending course is $150.
