Community Care College (communitycarecollege.edu) is a private, career-oriented trade school located in southeast Tulsa just off the Broken Arrow Expressway. Established in 1995, Community Care offers more than a dozen academic programs both on-campus and online. A few of the programs the school offers include business administration, dental assisting, early childhood education, medical assisting and paralegal studies. Community Care offers financial aid, student and career services. The school is accredited by the Accrediting Council of Independent Colleges and Schools and is licensed by the Oklahoma Board of Private Vocational Colleges.

This public technical college has campus locations all over the Tulsa including the Broken Arrow, Lemley, Peoria, Riverside and Sand Springs areas. Some of the programs offered at Tulsa Tech include construction, business, health science, information technology, manufacturing and transportation. Courses are available on-campus and online. The school offers career placement service, financial aid and career advisement. Tulsa Tech is accredited by the Oklahoma Department of Education, the Oklahoma Board of Career & Technology and the North Central Association --- Commission on Accreditation & School Improvement.
Oklahoma Technical College (oklahomatechnicalcollege.com) is located in southeast Tulsa just off the Broken Arrow Expressway. OTC offers three technical programs, automotive technology, welding technology and barber school. The school offers referral services, day care and career counseling/placement.
Tulsa Welding School (weldingschool.com) was founded in 1949 and is the largest accredited welding school --- as of article publication --- in the U.S., with campus locations in Tulsa and Jacksonville, Florida. Tulsa Welding school offers three welding programs: a seven-month master welding program, a 14-month associate degree program and a three-and-a-half month structural welding program. The master welder program concentrates curriculum in structural, pipe, thin alloy and pipeline welding. The associate degree welding technology program is essentially the same as the master welding program, except student smust complete general education classes to fulfill the associate degree requirements. The structural welding program is a subset of the master welding program with curriculum concentrated in solely structural welding.
To be accepted into the school, you must have a high school diploma or GED, have acceptable vision for welding and inspection tasks, have a successful entrance interview and be able to perform physical requirements such as heavy lifting and necessary body motions.
