Central Oregon Community College offers an extensive program in automotive technology and management. Students are able to take coursework that leads to certificates in various aspects of automotive technology, and can eventually earn a Master Automotive Technician certificate. After completing the certificate, the student has the option of earning an associate's degree in Automotive Management.

The Automotive Technology department at Chemeketa Community College offers three certificate programs, as well as an associate's degree. Available certificates include Automotive Body Repair, Automotive Entry Level Technician and Automotive Machining and all can be completed in one year. The Automotive Technology Associate of Applied Science degree is designed to be completed in two years. Students in the Automotive Technology program must be enrolled full time.
