Nail Tech Schools in North Carolina

The North Carolina State Board of Cosmetic Art Examiners sets the licensing standards not only for hairdressers, but also for nail technicians, or manicurists, working in the state. As part of these standards, all technicians must receive 300 hours of state-approved training before taking the licensing exam. Throughout the state, a number of schools have earned the approval of the board and prepare students through a combination of classroom lecture and hands-on practice.
