The Académie Culinaire offers cooking classes in topics ranging from Californian to Thai to French cuisine and from fine sauces to tapas to sushi. Courses are offered almost every day, and although most courses are taught in French, the Académie Culinaire also offers a selection of courses in English. English-language classes include topics such as basic cooking, bread baking, Italian cuisine and a class all about fish. Classes average between three and seven hours. Prices vary, depending on topic and class length.

Masala Cuisine Indienne serves Indian food Monday through Friday and offers Indian cooking classes weeknights and weekends. Participants can sign up for five-session evening courses, which comprise one two-hour session each week for five weeks, or a single weekend or evening session. The five-session evening course concludes in a weekly meal. Prices vary. The single-session option is available to groups of six to 15 people.

Stark & Whyte, a culinary supply store, offers regular cooking classes and cake decorating classes taught by professional chefs. St. Pius X Culinary Institute is a tuition-free cooking school available to Canadian residents through the country's ministry of education. Students must pay culinary fees for supplies and they may choose among three programs of study: Professional Cooking, Market Fresh Cooking and Food and Beverage Services. The Professional Cooking program requires 1,350 hours of study, the Market Fresh Cooking program requires 510 hours and the Food and Beverage Services program requires 960 hours. All three programs result in a diploma of vocational studies.
