Dallas Cooking Schools

Dallas may not enjoy the same reputation for fine cuisine as New York or San Francisco, but the food is surprisingly creative and diverse. Though citizens of Big D will always love their steakhouses and barbeque joints, the city is home to many exciting Asian, vegetarian, Mexican, Thai, Chinese, fusion and organic restaurants. Dallas is also home to several cooking schools, which give students the skills to embark on a culinary career.
  1. Le Cordon Bleu Institute of Culinary Arts-Dallas

    • Le Cordon Bleu Institute of Culinary Arts-Dallas teaches both North American and Europeans styles of cooking. The program covers the basics and tricks of cooking, plus non-cooking skills a chef might need, such as business methods, purchasing and cost control. The Le Cordon Blue program in Dallas offers an associate's degree. The school also has a separate patisserie and baking program, which leads to an associate's degree in occupational studies. Non-professional cooking classes round out the offerings. Le Cordon Bleu offers financial aid to those who qualify.
