Southern Indiana CNA Schools

A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) works in a variety of environments, include nursing homes, assisted living environments, hospitals, clinics and private homes. The CNA typically works under the supervision of other nursing staff while providing comfort to patients and assisting with daily activities, such as personal hygiene and feeding. Nursing Homes

    • Nursing homes or assisted living facilities sometimes fill CNA positions from within their facilities if the need is urgent. To solve this problem, facilities may offer training to people pursuing a career in this field. In many cases, this student receives free training while earning a paycheck. The student is usually contracted to work a specific amount of time to pay off the training costs. You may ask officials at facilities whether they offer free or disconnected CNA training.
