Commercial HVAC Schools

A heating, ventilating and air conditioning technician assembles and repairs heating and cooling equipment. Residential HVAC technicians specialize in working on houses; commercial technicians work in all other locations. Many HVAC training programs include refrigeration training.

One can qualify for this position in one of three ways. The most popular way is to complete a training program at a technical, trade or community college. Other options are through the armed forces or with on-the-job training by an employer. HVAC technicians are required to be licensed by the state.
