Accredited by the Council on Occupational Education, Beauty Schools of America Miami is a private cosmetology academy with four locations, including a branch in Miami. The college offers a certificate program in make-up artistry and skin care. Scheduling is flexible, allowing students to tailor the amount of hours they attend courses each week to fit their schedule. Most students are able to complete the entire program in two and one-half to three and one-half months. The program covers sanitation and sterilization techniques, cosmetology laws, facials, hair removal and professionalism. The make-up portion of the curriculum includes instruction in theatrical and beauty techniques. The school operates its own skin care clinic, where students gain experience working with paying clients. Eligible students can take advantage of federal loan and grant, private lending and veteran's benefit financial aid programs. Institutional payment plans are also available.

Founded in 1973, La Belle Beauty Academy is a private cosmetology school accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences. The Academy offers a skin care training program that requires 300 hours of training to complete. Classes are offered during mornings, afternoons and evening to accommodate the schedules of working students. The program covers facial massage, cleansing, masks and cream-based facials and pore extractions. All students gain experience working at the school's on-site salon. Students must pass a written examination prior to graduation. Federal grants and loans are available for qualified students. The school offers job placement assistance for all graduates. Out-of-town students can receive assistance locating housing in the Miami area from the Academy.
