• The International School of Health, Beauty & Technology (ISHBT), based in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida, offers programs in cosmetology, nail technology, barbering, massage therapy, full skin care and hair braiding. The cosmetology education covers hair cutting, designing and coloring, salon management and ownership, make-up and nail artistry, manicuring and pedicuring, spa services, product sales and development as well as cosmetology teaching. The school is authorized to offer I-20 Visas (F-1 Student Visa and M-1 Student Visa) by the Immigration and Naturalization Service Department. Foreign students must meet certain prerequisites, such as academic and financial requirements, to gain admission. After earning a degree, students can also apply for practical training (curricular and optional practical training programs), on-campus employment or off-campus work authorization or internship in recognized international organizations.

• The Academia International School of Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy in Melbourne, Australia, prepares students to pursue careers as designers and stylists in television, stage and films as well as photo fashion, salon ownership and artistic directors. Some of the hairdressing courses offered are Certificate III and Certificate IV in hairdressing. The beauty department offers Certificate IV in beauty therapy, diploma of beauty therapy and beauty salon services. Since the salons at the college are open to the public, the students get hands-on practical training after their education.

• OICB in Witney, England, offers spa beauty and body therapy courses full time or part time as well as evening and modular courses. The school also offer post-graduate courses in beauty therapy for students holding beauty therapy and massage qualifications from recognized schools. This course includes eyelash perming, ear piercing, thread vein and skin tag removal, Indian head massage, thermal auricular therapy, reflexology, aromatherapy, microdermaabrasion, and a course on introduction to IPL and Laser methods. Foreign students are required to have an excellent command of the English language and meet the guidelines of the UKBA (UK Border Agency).
