What happened to the University of Detroit?

The University of Detroit merged with Mercy College of Detroit in 1990 to form the University of Detroit Mercy. So, the University of Detroit no longer exists as a separate institution. Its legacy and many of its programs continue within the larger University of Detroit Mercy.
