Hospital Based Ultrasonography Schools

In the United States, a small number of hospitals offer diagnostic medical sonographer certificate programs that carry the Commission on the Accreditation of Allied Health Educational Programs (CAAHEP). Through classroom-based instruction and clinical experience, these hospital-based schools prepare students for careers in a field the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts will grow by 18 percent from 2008 through 2018.
