ESH and SRBC Regulation and Compliance Training

Environmental Safety and Health (ESH) compliance training minimizes hazards to individuals, workers and the environment. The Susquehanna River Basin Commission (SRBC) is a policy that preserves the functions, duties and powers of government offices and agencies in the submission and review of environmental projects.
  1. Standards

    • ESH training enables individuals to increase their awareness of environmental safety guidelines, according to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations. ESH requires that laboratory workers complete safety courses, such as Worker Safety & Health and Training & Information, based on the type of hazards in the workplace.

    SRBC Workshop

    • The Susquehanna River Basin Commission (SRBC) and Pennsylvania CleanWays organization conduct workshops through the Susquehanna River Basin Streamside Cleanup Training Academy. The purpose of the workshops are to help non-profit organizations, cities and county conservation districts clean up the Susquehanna basin.

    Compliance

    • The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) administers programs that are subject to SRBC regulation. Thus, many aspects of SRBC training programs must be in compliance with EPA regulations.
