The National Massage Therapy Institute has a campus in northeast Philadelphia that trains students in many aspects of massage, including sports massage, business ethics, business management and shiatsu. The school's core program is in general massage therapy. It is an eight-month program that can also be completed in 12 months for students who wish to have a lighter weekly schedule. Completion of this program qualifies graduates to take the National Certification Exam in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, which is required for licensure in most states. Students who choose to can take specialty courses after completion of the core program, in sports massage and muscle performance therapies or prenatal, infant and geriatric massage therapy.

The Star Career Academy in Norristown sits on 32,356 square feet of suburban land. The campus is outfitted with a facility for its cosmetology program and a number of clinical laboratories and associated machines for its three medical programs --- medical assistant, surgical technology and dialysis technician. The cosmetology program prepares students for careers as stylists and makeup artists, while the medical programs require externships that offer real-world experience.
