Northwest Vista College's vocational studies program offers students a range of opportunities, including 3-D animation, community health, pharmacy technology and web site design. Students who take the vocational studies track receive certificates in their field of choice. In addition to vocational programs, Northwest Vista College offers study programs in business, English, fine arts, humanities, math, science and social science. The Milan Institute of Cosmetology has three campuses in San Antonio. The campuses are located in the city's Ingram Park, Windcrest and South neighborhoods. Students can learn vocations in the beauty industry, such as cosmetology and esthetics. Students learn their craft through hands-on training courses that teach every area of their field. All three San Antonio campuses are complete with student-staffed salons and spas that give the students more opportunities to polish their crafts. The salons and spas are opened to the public.
