Radiology Tech Programs in Texas

Many schools in Texas offer radiology technology programs for students who want to learn diagnostic medical imaging. Radiology technologists are also known as radiographers, radiologic technicians or technologists, radiologic assistants, rad techs or X-ray techs. They can specialize in imaging fields such as computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), sonography and radiation oncology. The Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology listed accredited 41 radiography programs in Texas as of May 2010.
