The Academy of Hair Design offers a manicuring course of study that consists of 350 credit hours. Students will learn about every aspect of the nail technician's duties, including professional conduct. nail repair, manicure and pedicure procedures and various manicure techniques. To become a licensed nail technician, all assigned projects and credits must be completed and tests must be passed with an 85 average. Upon completion, students may take the state licensing examination.
