Anesthesia Tech Schools

Anesthesia is a blessing to anyone in need of a major medical procedure, as being anesthetized allows a patient to remain unconscious during surgery. Anesthesiologists are charged with administering anesthetics to a patient before and during surgery. They are assisted by anesthesia technicians, who help clean, maintain and calibrate equipment. Anesthesia technicians who become certified by the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians (ASATT) may sometimes take a more active role in patient care.
