Complete Phlebotomy Training Inc. offers an 80- to 84-hour course in phlebotomy that qualifies graduates to sit for the national certification exam. Licensed vocational nurses, certified phlebotomy technicians, emergency medical technicians, radiology technicians and clinical lab scientists can attend one or two days of phlebotomy theory class for continuing education units (CEUs). The California Department of Public Health, Laboratory Field Services, approves all training.
Complete tuition for the phlebotomy course is $1,750, including the textbook. Three payment blocks make paying for the course easier for most students. The cost is $10 to $20 per CEU. These costs were current as of August 2010.
