List of Schools Approved by Florida State for Pharmacy Tech

A pharmacy technician is a worker who assists in the day-to-day operations of pharmacies. While certification is not mandatory in Florida, taking the certification exam bestows upon the employee the title of Certified Pharmacy Technician, or CPhT. Certified employees receive higher pay and more responsibility than their noncertified coworkers. Numerous postsecondary pharmacy technician programs in Florida can prepare workers for certification.
