I want to major in architecture. Can i take my gen ed courses a school that doesnt have architecture courses?

Yes, you can absolutely take your general education (Gen Ed) courses at a school that doesn't offer an architecture program. Many students do this. You'll then apply to and attend a separate school that *does* offer a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program for your professional degree.

Just be sure that the Gen Ed courses you take will transfer to the architecture school you plan to attend.
