Top Graduate Schools for Nursing

Graduate nursing schools typically prepare nurses for advanced practice areas in nursing, as well as for positions in education and research. Advanced practice areas require special expertise and knowledge such as that of anesthesia, pediatrics or primary care. Advanced practice nurses take on wider nursing roles as nurse practitioners, nurse anesthetists, nurse midwives and clinical nurse specialists.
