Audiology Doctorate Programs

Audiologists diagnose and treat hearing and balance disorders. They evaluate patients and may prescribe hearing aids or install cochlear implants. An aging population means audiologists will be in great demand. While requirements vary by state, all audiologists must be licensed to practice, and many states require a doctoral degree. The American Speech Language Hearing Association, through its Council on Academic Accreditation, accredits audiology programs.
