Rutgers University is one of the few established universities offering a part-time Ph.D. program in business. The only major difference between the part- and full-time program is the fee structure. Full-time students pay on a per term basis, while part-time students pay based on the number of credit hours they take. New Jersey residents pay less than non-residents. The program offers several areas of specialization: accounting; supply chain management; science, technology and management; accounting information systems; organization management; marketing and management science; finance; international business; and information technology. The school also offers joint-degree programs in areas like psychology and statistics. Individualized programs of study are also possible.
