Spinal Cord Grants for Individuals

According to a survey by the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, five times more people in the U. S. are living with spinal cord injury than previously estimated. The estimated lifetime cost of care for a 25-year-old with a spinal cord injury is $3 million. Although the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation offers Quality of Life grants only to nonprofit groups caring for individuals with spinal cord injury, a number of grant sources provide funding to support individuals with spinal cord injury, primarily with mobility and medical assistance.
