Registered training organization DNA Kingston is one of the largest dental training institutions in Australia. Since 1999, the dental nurse training institution has offered prospective students a variety of courses to choose from, from full-time and part-time diplomas and certificates, to post-graduate studies in Certificate III and IV in Dental Assisting, Business Management (Dental Practice Manager) and Dental Technology (Dental Technician). DNA Kingston also offers courses to improve dental nursing skills for already-practicing nurses; these courses include Infection Control Management, Intra-Oral Radiography and Introduction to Medical Reception.
The school is registered under the Accreditation Council of Western Australia and prides itself in a curriculum that heavily implements state and national registration policies and procedures. DNA Kingston has also won the award of "Western Australia’s Small Training Provider of the Year" in 2002, and was a finalist of The Australian Department of Education and Training’s Training Excellence awards from 2003 to 2007.

The Australian Dental Association of Queensland, known widely as the national "voice of dentistry," offers dental nursing training and education specifically to staff employed by members of ADAQ--which include 90 percent of all registered dentists and dental specialists throughout Australia--and employees of the University of Queensland’s Dental College. ADAQ's professional Registered Training Organization (RTO) offers quality and affordable training for all eligible students, including nationally accredited courses such as its Certificate III in Dental Assisting and Certificate IV in Dental Assisting (Dental Radiography). ADAQ’s dental nursing programs generally run for an entire academic year, with enrollments accepted in July and February.
