Georgia Perimeter College admits international students and takes pride in its service to the community of international education. The academic requirements and level of proficiency in the English language required for admission vary depending on the country from which each student is moving. Students can pursue an associate degree in a variety of subject areas such as philosophy, geology, business administration and criminal justice. Bellevue College, formerly known as Bellevue Community College, admits international students as well. Bellevue College offers certificates and technical/professional degrees as well associate degree programs intended for students who wish to pursue a bachelor's degree. Bachelor's degrees are available through partnerships with three other institutions including Washington State University, Eastern Washington University and University of Washington. International students participate in an intensive English and University preparation program that helps students gain proficiency in the English language and prepares them for college-level classes.

Lane Community College admits international students and has done so since 1966. In 2010, 3 percent of the students enrolled are international students. This school holds its accreditation from the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges and provides students with the opportunity to pursue technical and professional training as well as English as a second language, personal enrichment and the option to transfer to four-year institutions.
