Choosing a nutrition major is one that offers students a variety of career choices as well as options for furthering their education. This degree consists of 104 credits and offers options to help students get into medical school upon completion of the degree through working with academic advisers and taking extra courses like physics and math 153. Some required classes for students who are in the nutrition science specialization are Introductory Cell Biology, Human Anatomy and Physiology as well as Experimental Foods Laboratory.
