The California Graduate School of Theology is located in La Habra, California. Founded in 1969, the school is an interdenominational graduate school with over 5,000 alumni. The school offers Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts, Master of Divinity, Master of Theology, Doctor of Ministry, Doctor of Theology and Doctor of Philosophy degrees. IAU, which was founded in 2005 as the Management Institute of America, Inc., is an unaccredited private institution that offers programs via classroom instruction and distance learning. The school was approved in 2009 by the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to enroll foreign, non-immigrant students. The school awards certificates as well as associate, bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees. Students are admitted to the MBA program without having earned a bachelor's degree.
Golden State Baptist College is an independent, fundamentalist Baptist Bible college located in Santa Clara, California. The school, which was founded in 1975, awards bachelor's and master's degrees in fields related to Christian ministry and pastoral studies. Enrolled students prepare for various career positions in ministry, including pastor, pastoral assistant, missionary, teacher and musician. GSBC has deliberately refrained from pursuing accreditation to maintain its independence from secular authorities.
Frederick Taylor University is located in Moraga, California (although the school was first incorporated in Hawaii). FTU was founded 1994. The school offers undergraduate and graduate distance learning programs in business. FTU only awards Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees. Convenient for students is the school's rolling admissions and enrollment; students can begin classes at any time of the year. In 1994, the California Bureau for Private Post secondary and Vocational Education authorized the school to award degrees.
