Named for the late actress and teacher, Stella Adler, Stella Adler Academy of Acting offers a two-year certificate program. There are six terms per year for a total of twelve terms. Classes focus on acting technique, dialect, improvisation, theater history and audition skills. Admission to the academy is based on an interview.

The Hollywood Film & Acting Academy is located in Los Angeles, near West Hollywood. The school offers several acting programs including private instruction, a six-week course, and a six-month acting program. The Ultimate Acting Program is a six-month program that meets five times a week. Students are taught by professional actors and therefore get a first-hand look into the real-life acting community. During that six-month period students get professional headshots and act in a feature-length film. Financial assistance is available to students who meet the criteria.

The Theatre of Arts Multimedia School of Acting was founded in 1927 by film actor Ben Bard. The school, located in Hollywood, is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre. Its acting program consists of three years of learning, training, rehearsing, auditioning and performing. Year one involves students learning the art of acting, the adaptability of voice and movement and discovering oneself through acting. The second year includes focus on scene study and the emotional boundaries in acting. The third year combines all the learned elements and focuses on live performances and individual showcases.
