How to Do a Bibliographic Entry

Bibliographies list all references used in a written work. They prevent claims of plagiarism and give readers source material. Structured bibliography documenting formats, such as the Chicago and the American Psychological Association (APA) style, allow for uniformity of citing references. APA style bibliographies are often used where medical journals are referenced. Chicago style bibliographies are commonly found in historical information and social science materials.
