Students need to take lab sessions for one summer at the Greeley campus. Applicants need an undergraduate degree in speech-language pathology, audiology or communication-science disorders, or they must have completed a core of undergraduate prerequisite courses. The program is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation of the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) through September 2017.

Upon completion, you'll earn a speech-language pathology paraprofessional certificate in the state of North Dakota. Some course requirements are introduction to speech-language pathology, language development, audiology, articulatory/phonological disorders and public speaking.
The University of Wyoming Division of Communication Disorders in Laramie (uwyo.edu) offers a distance Master of Science degree in speech-language pathology. The program is a combination of distance-learning technology and on-campus courses. Students can take this program throughout the United States with degrees other than communication disorders. After completion, students must pass the National Examination in Speech Language Pathology. Also, students must complete a clinical fellowship year to be eligible for the ASHA certificate of clinical competence in speech-language and the Wyoming license in speech pathology.
