How to Cite Subtitles in APA

The American Psychological Association (APA) style was developed for concise writing in the social and behavioral sciences. There are many ways to locate the basic format for citations: dedicated websites, citation engines and print guides. Citing subtitles from a specific edition of a video can be tricky because it is not listed under the common sources in The Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association. The publication manual does give the dots on how to cite this specific format though; all you have to do is connect them. Cite the video where the subtitles originated.
