Generally, no, a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in science is not sufficient on its own to teach at the college level. While it prepares you to teach science at the K-12 level, college-level teaching typically requires a doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in a relevant science field, or at least a Master's degree *plus* significant professional experience in research and/or publication.
Some community colleges might have exceptions, particularly for teaching introductory courses or lab sections, but even then, a strong background in research and potentially additional qualifications are often preferred. The emphasis at the college level is often on research and scholarly contributions, which an MAT program typically doesn't focus on to the same extent.
