Ashworth College's online floral design program teaches students the art and business of floral arranging, including composition, color, proportion, balance, harmony and shape. Through this program, students will learn how to create arrangements, bouquets, wreaths, corsages and gift baskets suitable for parties, showers, weddings, funerals and other events. The curriculum of the floral design course comprises 20 lessons, including Texture and Fragrance, and Care and Handling of Flowers and Plants. All learning materials, such as the lesson book, floral-design supply kit and time-management guide are included with the course tuition. Students receive an introductory note from the professor, online student support and tutorial assistance.

The International Career School of Canada, or ICS Canada, has been established since 1890. As Canada's largest school of independent home study, this learning institution is an accredited member of the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC). The school's online floral design program can be completed in as little as six months.
